Who we are

SELLING SIDEKICK LIMITED, company number 15900274, is responsible for personal information used for our website, enquiries, bookings and customer administration. Our registered office is Suite 8, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, England, IP28 7DE.

What we collect and why

When you contact us or book a call, we receive your name, email address, company, appointment details and anything you choose to tell us about your requirements. The booking form's note about your tools and process is optional. We use these details, correspondence and relevant written notes to respond, arrange the call and discuss suitable services. We do not record or automatically transcribe enquiry and fit calls.

If you become a customer, we also keep relevant proposals, agreed scope, project correspondence, invoices and payment records. Work inside your own CRM on your instructions is covered by separate customer data-processing arrangements.

For people representing a business, our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to requests and managing business relationships. Where you personally contract with us, we use information necessary for the steps you request before a contract and to perform it. We retain legally required accounting records under our legal obligations. We also rely on our legitimate interests to operate, protect and improve our website and services.

You choose whether to contact us. We need sufficient contact and request details to respond or provide the service. Please do not include passwords, customer databases or sensitive personal information in booking notes.

Follow-up and marketing

We follow up about your enquiry and related service discussion. Booking or contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter or general marketing updates.

Who handles your information

Authorised people working for Selling Sidekick can access the information needed for their roles. We use Google Workspace for business email, Calendar bookings, Meet calls and documents; Notion for enquiry tracking; and Lovable for website hosting. We may share relevant records with professional advisers or where legally required.

International processing

Our team works remotely, and our providers operate internationally. Information may therefore be accessed or processed outside the UK, including within the European Economic Area and in other countries. We do not promise UK-only storage or access.

The UK recognises EEA countries, including Romania, as providing adequate protection. Providers also describe contractual transfer protections, including standard contractual clauses and UK transfer addenda, in their published privacy and processing terms. The applicable arrangements depend on the provider, recipient and processing involved. Contact ceri@sellingsidekick.com for information about the locations and safeguards relevant to your information.

Provider information:

Cookies, statistics and external links

Our hosting provider uses cookies and similar technology to operate and protect the website. Optional visitor statistics are currently switched off. We do not add advertising pixels to this website.

Our booking links open Google Calendar. Google's own privacy information and technology apply on its website: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Our use of the booking information you provide is explained in this notice.

How long we keep information

We review unsuccessful enquiries 12 months after the last meaningful contact and delete or anonymise information no longer needed. We retain relevant customer records according to the continuing business relationship, legal obligations and any dispute, and review whether they are still needed. Accounting records are normally kept for six years from the end of the financial year concerned, and longer where legally required.

Our providers retain technical records under their published operational and security criteria, including operating services and investigating incidents. Their privacy information explains these arrangements. A visitor-statistics reporting window is not a promise that every underlying technical record is deleted at that point.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. Rights have conditions and exceptions, and we may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Contact ceri@sellingsidekick.com to make a request.

You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests for reasons relating to your circumstances. You can object to direct marketing at any time.

This website enquiry and booking process does not use solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. You do not have to contact us first.

Changes

We will update this notice if our practices change and show the revised date above.
